    My uncle was ready to burst as he had eaten his dinner an hour before he came to our house. He was such good fun. I still miss him.

  3. What a delightful story, and more delight in your reading. I so enjoyed hearing it. My paternal grandmother fed tramps at her door during the depression here in the U.S. in the late 30s and 40s (& the depression lasted a lot longer in the south where I was born)… She had a son who sounds a lot like your uncle as well. He was always pulling off terrible stunts as well. Thanks for the memories.
